Our Peterborough office is in a city centre location, close to the POSH football ground and is permanent home to our team of Peterborough based advocates. The office has two floors with meeting rooms available both upstairs and downstairs to ensure it is easily accessible.

Although advocates will normally meet you in a community setting such as in a hospital, residential care home or in your own home, our meeting rooms are private to allow you to discuss any issues with an advocate in a neutral setting if this is better for you, although all meetings need to be pre-booked and there is no ‘drop-in’ facility. Our partner organisations Cambridgeshire deaf Association and National Youth Advocacy Service also hold meetings in our Peterborough office so may arrange to meet you here.

Welcome to Total Voice Cambridgeshire and Peterborough http://www.totalvoicecp.org/2017/02/21/welcome-to-tvcp/ http://www.totalvoicecp.org/2017/02/21/welcome-to-tvcp/#respond Tue, 21 Feb 2017 20:52:09 +0000 http://www.totalvoicecp.org/?p=369 Total Voice Cambridgeshire and Peterborough (TVCP) has now been established for 4 months.

The new integrated advocacy service, which was jointly commissioned by Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council, was designed to provide a single point of access, no wrong door method of accessing advocacy services across the 2 local authority areas. Most people are referred to the service by professionals who are helping them although people are also able to self -refer, or can be referred by a friend or family member.

Advocacy is offered in the following areas; advocacy under the Care Act, Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy, Independent Mental Health Advocacy, community mental health advocacy, advocacy for older people, advocacy for carers, advocacy for people with learning or physical disabilities, advocacy for children and young people and advocacy for deaf people. Voiceability work with two partner organisations, National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS) who provide advocacy for children and young people, and Cambridgeshire Deaf Association (CDA) who provide advocacy for deaf people. You will find information about eligibility for each type of advocacy on our information pages.

Total Voice has offices in both Cambridge and Peterborough although our advocates will normally arrange to meet you in another setting such as in your own home, in a hospital or residential care home or another community setting.
